Who Is Hayden Billingy?
Hayden Billingy is a Vincentian gospel artiste, songwriter, singer, actor, music producer and the visionary and one of the Directors of Arch City Entertainment Management Agency (ACEMA). Arch City Entertainment Management Agency is a gospel events and artiste management agency which was established to develop and promote the work of gospel artistes of all genres.
Since inception, ACEMA has successful produced Sing It With The Stars 2015 (a scouting show for singers) and Caribbean Festival Of Gospel Dance. Several artistes were booked in 2016 for the famous Barbados Gospel Festival 2016, an event in which they shared the stage with famous Caribbean and international artistes. The company (also booked two singers were also booked to appear in the recently concluded Caribbean Gospel Music Tour 2016, which has ministered the gospel to over 20,000 youths throughout the Caribbean since it began.
Hayden Billingy – academic qualifications
Hayden Billingy is a University graduate, with BSc. and MSc. qualifications in Forestry Engineering and Environmental Management and Natural Resource Management (Applied Meteorology) respectively. He possesses certificates in Natural Sciences; Climate Change and Disaster Risk Management, and a post graduate certificate in Spanish translation and interpretation. He describes himself as a life – long learner, always adding to his repertoire of knowledge by continuous study.
Hayden Billingy – employment
Mr. Hayden Billingy is an environmentalist and employee of the Government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. He worked with the National Parks, Rivers and Beaches Authority as Deputy Director and Superintendent of Rivers, Beaches and Recreational Sites for over 5 years, with management responsibility for fourteen recreational Parks throughout St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
He was employed as National Coordinator for the Global Environmental Facility Small Grants Program of the United Nations Development Program for a three year period. During his tenure, he managed eighteen diverse projects in collaboration with private sector, government and Civil Society Organizations throughout St. Vincent and the Grenadines. He also developed his business and project management acumen, including but not limited to budget preparation and management, marketing and promotions, and human resources management, having worked with over fifty Non-Governmental Organizations nationally.
Hayden is currently the National Coordinator in St. Vincent and the Grenadines for the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) Regional Office for Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean (ORMACC). He is responsible for the implementation of the project titled “Coastal Protection for Climate Change Adaptation in the Small Island States in the Caribbean”.
Hayden Billingy Music was established in 2015 with the vision to produce the diverse and rich music of gospel singers and musicians in St. Vincent and the Grenadines and beyond. He believes that nations need to receive a transfer of the anointing of God and the breaking of satanic yokes through anointed music ministry.
Since inception, Hayden Billingy Music has already collaborated with leading gospel musicians and labels in St. Vincent and the Grenadines and St. Lucia, providing song composition and lyric videos. Although he believes that he has appeared on the music scene rather late in life, Hayden Billingy is preparing to release his first album titled “Hold On”. This tasty morsel will be unveiled on August 27th, 2016 at the outstanding “Sing It Like The Stars”, a musical production by his company Arch City Entertainment Management Agency. Sing It Like The Stars show cases the vocal and songwriting skills of seven finalists and takes place at the Russell’s auditorium, Kingstown, St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
Hayden Billingy Collections
Mr. Billingy is also the Chief Executive Officer of Hayden Billingy Collections, his clothing line that features the history and culture of the Garifuna, the indigenous people of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. The Garifuna are famous for their resistance against British rule, although this ended in exile to Belize in 1797.
Clothing from Hayden Billingy Collections line were modeled in 2016 by contestants in the prestigious Miss. St. Vincent and the Grenadines and by other top Vincentian personalities. The culturally inspired t-shirts have captured the attention of the Diaspora and have been marketed locally and in New York.
